Warehouse Group Leader
The Warehouse Group Leader is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations which include material handling of components and finished goods.
What you’ll be doing:
- Directly supervise 5-10 employees in the Shipping and Receiving Department.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Be responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
The Ideal Candidate
What you’ll need:
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to use PICK system and basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Must be forklift certified within 90 days.
